Built Proper ("we", "us") is the data controller for personal data collected through builtproper.com. We're committed to handling your data lawfully and transparently under UK GDPR.

When you submit the contact form, book a call, or chat with Billy, we collect the details you give us — typically your name, email, phone, business name and message. We also collect basic technical data (IP address, browser) and anonymous analytics via Google Analytics.

How we use it

To respond to your enquiry, provide our services, and improve the site. We do not sell your data. We never share it except with the processors needed to run our business (below).

Who we share it with

Our trusted processors: Netlify (hosting), Supabase (enquiry storage), Postmark (transactional email), Anthropic (the Billy assistant), and Google Analytics. Each processes data on our behalf under their own safeguards.

How long we keep it

We retain enquiry data for as long as needed to deal with your request and for legitimate business records, then delete it.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or object to its processing, at any time. Email hello@builtproper.com and we'll action it. You also have the right to complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
